Benjamin Myers
Biography
Benjamin J. Myers was born in the Potteries in 1967. After studying Philosophy and Psychology at Leeds University, he attended the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst. He saw active service as a Troop Commander in the first Gulf War and is a qualified battlefield survival instructor. In 1993, he attained his Diploma in Law from the University of London and has subsequently been a barrister in a busy practice in Manchester, specialising in serious crime, often representing vulnerable defendants, in particular juveniles. He also lectures other legal professionals on mentally disordered offenders and human rights. Married with three children, Benjamin Myers lives in North Cheshire.
Event synopsis
Ben will talk about The Bad Tuesdays, an exciting, hard-edged adventure series, and how it is set in a fictitious future similar to the world in which we live but where science and technology are more advanced.
He’ll talk about what it’s like to be an author, how he writes and where his inspirations come from.
There will be a reading and an opportunity for questions and answers.
