FIONA ANGWIN
Biography
Fiona Angwin is an actor, zoologist, writer, bat worker, drama workshop leader and an environmental educationalist. She is a member of The Society for Storytelling and has worked as an actress and storyteller for over 20 years, mainly in primary schools. She has devised and led workshops on topics as diverse as “Bullying” and on “Bats & Biodiversity”. Her spellbinding stories are an exciting mix of Air, Fire and Water stories, Manx stories, native American tales, creepy tales, myths and monsters designed for 4-11 year olds. Some of her stories are simply told, but many involve amazing and unique puppets making her shows very visual. Event synopsis
Storytelling sessions aim to entertain the audience and to encourage children to discover the magic of stories, words and books. The workshops, in addition, help them to develop their own storytelling skills.
Fiona Angwin will be visiting Severndale School on
Monday 12th March and

Thursday 15th March.
