Some of the best loved children's authors, illustrators and storytellers will be visiting the area during , Monday 12th - Thursday 15th March.

All events are tailored to meet the needs of your pupils. Contact details for all visiting authors are on the website. Bookfest arranges all travel and accommodation for the author and will, wherever possible, accompany the author during their visit. Books will be on sale, provided by a local bookseller.

Preparing for your author visit will ensure that the pupils get the most out of the day. We recommend that you have a selection of the visiting author's books accessible to the children throughout the term. Contact Schools Library Service at to order books by this author for your pupils.
