Helen Wendy Cooper
Helen Wendy Cooper, a young local author,
who is just launching her writing career, made her first visit
to Shrewsbury Children’s Bookfest.
At the Shropshire Wildlife Trust Centre, Helen attracted a large
pre-school audience and introduced them all to her characters
from Shape Land. She offered the children a great introduction
to learning about shapes, and ran a simple craft activity for
all to get involved.
We wish her all the best with her new book due out in June 2008.
