Julia Jarman

Biography  

Teacher, ex-drama student and writer, Julia Jarman is the author of over 100 books across the age range, from picture books and first readers to teen novels. Primary teachers will know her Jessame stories. Julia will be reading from her latest book Hey, What’s that Nasty Whiff?

Event synopsis

Julia offers any one of the following sessions:
1. A session on how a book is made
2. A session called ‘Tell Me’ in which she launches a discussion about her work
3. Join in with Julia, an interactive session for younger children who join in with picture book readings, dance the can-can, run away from the anaconda and handle her cuddlier characters.

Ideal audience size – 60 children.
