SHREWSBURY CHILDREN’S BOOKFEST

MAY FESTIVAL 2015

SATURDAY 2ND MAY & SUNDAY 3RD MAY 2015

"MURDEROUS MATHS" with KJARTAN POSKITT

This event was sold out and for good reason.  Kjartan entertained and enthralled everyone in this fast-paced, hilarious and amazing hour long show, demonstrating ingenious maths tricks and jokes.  He had us rolling in the aisles....never again will maths ever be murderous...

SATURDAY 2ND MAY:

Kjartan Poskitt has written several children's books, including the AGATHA PARROT series but is probably best known for his  Murderous Maths children's series of books.

He's also presented science and maths programmes and toured his one-man comedy show. In the last ten years he has appeared all over the country demonstrating mathematical tricks from his MURDEROUS MATHS book series.

In addition to his popular science and maths books, which include books on Isaac Newton (Dead Famous: Isaac Newton and His Apple), puzzles, practical jokes and secred codes, Poskitt has written a book of magical tricks, a GCSE Maths support book and four Rosie and Jim annuals.
