The Horrible Science Show
Nick Arnold, the hugely popular
author of the 'Horrible Science' series, returned to Shrewsbury
Children's Bookfest for his second visit on Friday 2 May.
In a
packed Ashton Theatre, Nick had both children and adults
wriggling in their seats with his grizzly scientific facts.
These included the uncomfortable reminder of just how many
thousands of pillow mites we share our beds with at night – and
what they like to feed off: dead skin and saliva!
A fascinating evening, with good entertainment for all the
family.
What the audience said:
"Funny and scary."
"I don't like Science at school but Nick Arnold showed Science
can be fun!"
"Really good quizzes."
"It was good and funny."
"Funny and scary."
"Fun, laughed out loud, captured out attention."
