"I think Accidental Prime-minister is a brilliant, full of comedy book. This book is a really exiting book and makes you laugh the whole way through. I’d say it is suitable for all ages, because it is entertaining and there are some funny pictures in it if you like a book with pictures. Younger readers would need someone to read it to them though. I rate it 9/10: nearly perfect! Altogether I really like this book. Go on...give it a read!!!"

I also like how its got a load of funny pictures and I think the funniest bit of the book is when Joe accidentally turns into prime minster ! I have never read a book like this because its not the book I would normally read so it was a change a good change. I think this is a good book."

"This book is really good-for all David Walliams fans-with hilarious phrases like: You big daffy, and LOL should be banned (I agree), hats for cats and many more to make you laugh. I really recommend this book for someone who is upset or just wants to read for fun. AJay is my favourite character because he comes up with all of the weird and crazy  ideas."

Elliot Andreae, Castlefields Primary School, Bridgnorth, Shropshire

"The Accidental Prime Minister is an extremely funny tale about an ordinary boy Joe and his best friend Ajay. Joe doesn't realise but he has the talent to be the next Prime Minister of England. But it is not as easy as it seems, from stopping wars to having fun. Sadly not everyone likes the Minister for example Violetta Crump who will do anything to stop the citizens of England to have fun. I strongly recommend this book if you are a fan of David Walliams and like to have a laugh. Tom McLaughlin, THANK YOU!"

Joe Mapp, Castlefields Primary School, Bridgnorth, Shropshire

"WOW! This book was amazing, its about a 12 year old boy who becomes Prime Minister.  If you like David Walliams books you will like this one.  Its a humours book.  I was sad the book finished.  I found it boring at the start and it got better as I read on.  So I really recommend this book if you like any David Walliams books.  It used lots of formal language but parts of it is informal.  It has a few pictures in every chapter.  There are nineteen chapters in the book.  Each chapter has an interesting and gripping title that makes you want to read on."

Chloe Hunt, Castlefields Primary School, Bridgnorth, Shropshire

"The Accidental Prime Minister made me giggle at times but also made me really feel for the characters. My favourite character was Jenkins because he's so serious it's almost funny. At times it's gross but that's what makes it so hilarious. I love the way the author uses a variety of emotions throughout the book. The  story line is good because of its ups and downs. I love all the humour and jokes but I also love all the emotion and especially the friendship between Joe and Ajay."
