About the book:
GREY is just a puppy when he arrives at the War Dog Training school.
NATHAN, his handler, is a brave young soldier. Grey and Nathan soon become inseparable. Until the day a parachute jump goes tragically wrong. As the Second World War rages, Grey faces his most important mission yet: to find his best friend. Can he reach Nathan before it’s too late?
About the Author:
Megan was born in London in 1962. She has always loved books and writing stories as well as adventures and travelling.
Megan likes writing books and intends them to all be based around animals. She now has 2 dogs, both golden retrievers: Traffy (short for Trafford) and Bella (named after my Bella Donna series) who doesn’t have a book about her yet – but probably will soon.

This book is …FANTASTIC!There are grate illustrations and words. In the middle
(Grey)gets split up when they jump out of the plane. I would recomed this book to 8+ and people who like war stories.
Bomber Dog is heart warming and tear drawing, in the way that Nathan and Grey split up after a parachute jump goes horribly wrong and then at the end they then meet up once again. I think its a great book to read on a rainy day to bring all sorts of emotions like joy and sadness.
I loved this book. My favourite character is Grey because he doesn’t stop at anything. I give this book 1000/1000 and would recommend it for 7+ and people who like a bit of animal drama.
This book was my favourite book. I loved it and couldn’t put it down. Some parts are emotional, but others are funny or interesting. I would definitely recommend this book 5 stars out of 5. Any child that read this would love it.
i thought it was relly good and dramatic at the end and was quite cool. its good that the dog got back together with its owner. i give this book10 out of 10* now ive read all the books this is gonna be my vote.
I enjoyed this book because it had a brilliant storyline, and it was tempting to read more and find out more about the story. This book was a sad and happy book because in the parts they were happy it was parts when the dog, Grey, and the owner Nathan always played together, and sad parts like when Nathan always and Grey had to jump out of an airoplane and it all goes wrong and Nathan couldn’t find Grey for ages, and that was quite sad. I would recommend this book to anyone especially people who like World War books. I would rate this book 10/10 because it was a brilliant book and it was my type of book and I enjoyed it.
This book is a great book to read and learn about the war. no wonder this book won Shrewsbury book fest!
